Class Description

This certification class is required to sell and service the Trane Variable Speed Systems. This class will cover installation, startup and commissioning, CLII control wiring, and troubleshooting. New this year to this course is the newest Link Communication Platform that helps deliver even more comfort, faster installs and commissioning. Learn about the new application for setting up and troubleshooting this elite variable system.

Class Instructors

Fred Simpson
Fred has been in the HVAC/R industry since 1982. He was a service technician for 27 of those years as a residential, commercial, and industrial journeyman technician. In 2010, Fred was appointed as a commercial equipment and control integration regional service manager and corporate trainer. Since 2010, Fred has served as a technical support specialist, technical trainer, service engineer, and design and application engineer for both residential and commercial HVAC equipment at the factory level and in distribution.
